Rendimiento de la innovación de productos: Análisis de medidas y balanzas para aplicación en pymes

Objetivo: presentar el análisis de las medidas y escalas del desempeño de la innovación del producto, aplicadas en estudios sobre las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas. Metodologia/ abordaje: pesquisa de carácter exploratorio y cualitativo-descriptivo, que usó como método de investigación la revisión bibliográfica sistemática, a partir de artículos encontrados en la base de datos decapes, entre los años de 1990 a 2020 (diciembre). Principales resultados: 92 artículos sobre el desempeño de la innovación de producto fueron identificados, siendo que 41 utilizaron medidas objetivas (llamadas proxies) y 51, escalas psicométricas. De esos últimos, siete escalas fueron desarrolladas y replicadas en estudios con PME. Contribución teórica/ metodológica: teniendo en vista la creciente importancia de la gestión de innovación en las PME y considerando la divergencia entre las formas y las variables utilizadas en la medición del desempeño de las acciones organizacionales en interés de la innovación de productos, esta pesquisa apunta las medidas más adecuadas a ese análisis. Importancia/originalidad: la búsqueda por la innovación de productos ha crecido los últimos años lo que hace necesario y urgente- como lo deja claro este estudio- el conocimiento de las herramientas de análisis del desempeño de las innovaciones realizadas. Contribución social para la gestión: este artículo proporciona a los gestores de las PME informaciones y herramientas para el análisis de los esfuerzos en la medición del desempeño de la innovación de productos en las PME.

Los autores/autoras están permitidos y animados a publicar su trabajo (Versión enviada, Versión aceptada [Manuscrito aceptado por el autor/autora] o Versión publicada [Versión del registro]) en línea, por ejemplo, en repositorios institucionales o preprints, ya que puede llevar a intercambios productivos, así como a citas anteriores y mayores de trabajos publicados.
