¿Es el emprendimiento un área de investigación emergente? Una respuesta computacional

Objetivo: Nuestro objetivo es dar respuesta a cuatro preguntas: primero, con el creciente número de publicaciones sobre emprendimiento, ¿existe una concentración en temas específicos o, por el contrario, una dispersión, ampliando los temas relacionados con el emprendimiento? En segundo lugar, ¿existe una jerarquía de temas, en el sentido de que algunos de ellos constituyen el "núcleo" del espíritu empresarial? En tercer lugar, ¿están estos temas vinculados a otras áreas de investigación establecidas? Finalmente, ¿es posible identificar obras que sean influyentes, actuando como núcleos en la formación de clusters? Método: El método es el desarrollo de una versión original del procedimiento computacional propuesto por Shibata et al (2008), que permite comprender la diversidad de las diferentes subáreas del tema investigado, al tiempo que reduce la necesidad de supervisión especializada. en el campo de investigación en estudio. Originalidad y relevancia: Desarrollamos y aplicamos un método para capturar la formación y evolución de áreas de investigación en emprendimiento, a través de redes de citas directas, permitiéndonos entender la iteración entre diferentes subáreas de investigación. Resultados: La dispersión es una característica de la constitución del emprendimiento como campo de investigación, con una jerarquía entre áreas de investigación, lo que significa una organización emergente en los procesos de expansión. Concluimos que la investigación sobre emprendimiento se forma por especialización, es decir, por una aplicación en nichos.
