¿Cómo genera la innovación social un impacto social? Aportaciones de una metasíntesis

Objetivo: Analizar cómo las acciones y prácticas de innovación social, retratadas en estudios de caso, generan impacto social. Metodología: Se adoptó la metasíntesis que, al identificar investigaciones empíricas (estudios de casos) y establecer análisis comparativos, reveló nuevas posibilidades de investigación, profundización y expansión teórica. Resultados: Los resultados demuestran la heterogeneidad del concepto y acciones de innovación social, identifican sus agentes promotores, elementos impulsores y/o activadores, redes de actores y formas de impacto social, así como asocian la innovación y el impacto social con otros enfoques y posibilidades en la innovación. Aportes teóricos y metodológicos: El estudio logró sintetizar elementos preponderantes para alcanzar impacto social a partir de acciones de innovación social, temas poco explorados de manera integrada. Además, exploró el método de la metasíntesis, reforzando la aplicación de esta estrategia de investigación como instrumento para construir teorías e identificar hallazgos que superen las conclusiones originales de los estudios de casos primarios. Originalidad: Considerando las diferencias en el reconocimiento y medición del impacto social, así como la inexistencia de un estándar sobre su generación a partir de la innovación social, este estudio sintetiza resultados empíricos, categoriza e identifica aspectos y elementos que condicionan la generación de impacto social a partir de la innovación social. innovación social. Contribuciones sociales / para la gestión: Además de retratar aspectos conceptuales, impulsores y formas de impacto social, este estudio ofrece una discusión sobre la integración entre agentes impulsores, impulsores y redes de actores que pueden ayudar a los practicantes de la innovación social, y los gestores públicos y sociales en estimular y generar resultados positivos (impacto social) a partir de esta innovación.
